Welcoming Henrike Kortemeyer and Annette Flohrschütz into the leadership team, David Chipperfield Architects Berlin is laying the foundations for a generational transition, embracing new perspectives and distributing responsibility across a broader team.
Following Harald Müller and Alexander Schwarz, Eva Schad and Martin Reichert are handing over their roles as Managing directors to a new generation. As partners, they all remain integral to the practice, continuing to contribute their experience and vision. Through their dedication, energy, and commitment, their leadership has made a lasting impact on the Berlin office.
Henrike Kortemeyer is now part of the management team alongside Daniel Wendler and Lothar Kühlwein. As Managing director, she will focus on financial controlling and project management. Annette Flohrschütz, who has significantly shaped the office’s approach to concept development, takes on a key role in the extended leadership team, focusing on acquisition strategy.
This transition reflects our commitment to a future-oriented and collaborative leadership model, ensuring the continued development of the practice, based on our core principles – fostering the quality of process and discourse to create architecture of lasting value.
