Harald Müller studied architecture at the Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Technische Universität Berlin. He started working for David Chipperfield Architects in 1994 as an executive architect in Berlin. After the practice won the competition for the Neues Museum, Harald founded the Berlin office of David Chipperfield Architects, together with Mark Randel and Eva Schad in 1998. He was Managing Director from 1998 to 2022 and has been a Partner in the Berlin office since 2011. Harald is responsible for the financial control and contract management of the Berlin office and for the management of numerous projects, including the Neues Museum on Berlin’s Museum Island, the Museum of Modern Literature in Marbach am Neckar and the Amorepacific headquarters in Seoul.
