Annette Flohrschütz joined David Chipperfield Architects’ Berlin office in 2000. She became an Associate in 2011 and has led the concept development and competitions department in the Berlin office since 2019. In 2024 Annette joined the extended leadership team, focusing on acquisition strategy.
During her time with the practice, Annette has played a pivotal role as project architect in the design development of numerous international competitions, most recently for the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. Annette initially worked on the Neues Museum on Berlin’s Museum Island. As project architect, she has furthermore been responsible for a wide range of cultural projects, including Liangzhu Museum in Hangzhou, the Carmen Würth Forum in southern Germany and the Mughal Museum in Agra, India. Annette studied architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin.
