Daniel Wendler joined David Chipperfield Architects Berlin in 2005. He became an Associate in 2017 and Managing Director in 2022. He now oversees all aspects of project management while also actively serving as a project manager for a wide range of individual projects.
As project architect Daniel has been responsible for the design and site design supervision of a wide range of projects in the Berlin office, including the interior design of the Empire Riverside Hotel in Hamburg, the Peek & Cloppenburg Flagship Store in Vienna, the Elbtower in Hamburg and the refurbishment of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
After training as a mason, Daniel Wendler studied architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin and has been working as a qualified architect since 2001.
