Eva Schad joined David Chipperfield Architects in London in 1994. After the practice won the competition for the Neues Museum, Eva was responsible for establishing the Berlin office, which she founded in 1998 together with Harald Müller and Mark Randel. She served as Managing Director from 1998 until 2024 and became a Partner of the Berlin office in 2011. In this role, she is responsible for human resources management, company management and the further development of the David Chipperfield Architects Campus in Berlin.

In the founding years of the office, Eva focused as project architect on conservation and restoration projects. She led the work on the Neues Museum and was jointly responsible for the development of the Masterplan for the Museum Island.

Eva completed her studies in architecture at the Technische Universität München and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.
