Basis trestle table

The trestle table Basis is a refined and adaptable system of solid wood trestles and beams constructed with traditional joinery techniques. The simple and qualitative design showcases a broad range of materials and flexible solutions for living and working. In addition to European walnut and solid oak in oiled or white-pigmented surfaces, the collection also includes brown coloured glass, offering a special contrast with the solid wood trestle base.

The trestle table was launched at the Salone del Mobile 2018 in Milan. It represents a continued collaboration between David Chipperfield and furniture manufacturer e15. The Basis workstation extended the series in 2019. Focusing on the needs of creative and functional work environments, it is a smart and casual desk system stripped back to the essentials, facilitating different styles of working.
