Sophie Roycroft joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2023 and was made an Associate in 2024. She currently serves as project architect on the Dunard Centre in Edinburgh and the Royal Academy Collections Gallery in London. She was previously project architect for the RA Schools. Sophie has worked on several other key projects, including the new Rolex headquarters in New York. Prior to joining the David Chipperfield Architects, Sophie spent twelve years in UK practice, focusing on arts, educational and residential projects. She studied architecture at University of Cambridge and London Metropolitan University and has undertaken conservation training with the SPAB and RIBA. Sophie leads the office's professional culture programme.
