Jacoby Studios has been awarded the Westfälischer Preis für Baukultur for Weiterbauen in Westfalen. The award, presented by the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL), recognises the project for its exceptional engagement with existing building fabric.

In light of climate change, the award particularly honours a resource-conscious culture of continuing to build, whether in urban development, architecture, construction, or materials. The quality of planning, participation, and implementation processes plays a key role in the jury’s assessment.

The award ceremony took place on 10 November 2025 at the LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur in Münster. Project architects Frithjof Kahl and Franziska Rusch attended the ceremony to accept the recognition on behalf of the team.
