Frithjof Kahl joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2007, advancing to Associate in 2017. Since becoming a Project Manager in 2021, Frithjof leads and mentors a team that specialises in a wide range of smaller-scale projects. In this capacity, he establishes the objectives and framework for each project within his team. As a Project Lead, Frithjof has been responsible for the developed and detailed design of numerous notable projects, including the Jacoby studios, a headquarters in Paderborn, the Chateau Royale hotel in Berlin as well as several buildings on the Ernsting's Family campus in Coesfeld-Lette.

Frithjof studied architecture at the Universität der Künste Berlin. After graduating in 1997, he worked as a research assistant at the Universität der Künste Berlin and gained experience in various architectural practices across Berlin.
