This new book documents the evolution of the campus for HEC Paris, a leading European school of advanced business studies with a global student body. It follows the planning and construction of its modernist buildings, designed by René Coulons, throughout the 1960s, and the more recent buildings on the campus by Martin Duplantier and David Chipperfield Architects. Through essays and an interview with Martin Duplantier, the book also explores the interplay of preservation and renovation and demonstrates how HEC can be taken as a model for campus planning.
