The design of Halo may be regarded as a homage to the classic light bulb. In times when we are less and less able to recall this previously common everyday object, Halo revives its unity of light and form – the objectification of light. The Halo family is comprised of three types of conical shades for both public and private environments. The pendant luminaire is characterised by a shade resting on a bulb, both of which are made of mouth-blown frosted glass. The lamp features LEDs that can be dimmed. Swedish lighting company Wästberg presented its latest collaboration with David Chipperfield Design at the Stockholm Light and Furniture Fair 2020.
