This storage project is designed to cover a number of different roles in the household, including a high double fronted unit, which simultaneously functions as a space divider, a sideboard with drawers, and a theatre board for multimedia entertainment. The product’s theme plays on the idea of a single material volume with apertures facing in all directions, some to the front, others to the side and to the rear, which breaks up the monotony of the standard bookcase typology. Materially, each unit is constructed from timber panels, which are seamlessly joined and lacquered, thus creating furniture items that respect their practical requirements and are built to a system, but conform to a visual language of their own.
