Faro battery lamp

Faro battery lamp is the result of the collaboration between Swedish manufacturer Wästberg and David Chipperfield. Inspired by historic lighthouses, Faro is a portable, rechargeable lamp that can be used both inside and outdoors. With its compact form it is an ideal companion for various settings, such as on a dining table, in the garden or on a balcony. Moving fluidly between various lighting settings, it can provide both strong, focused illumination, as well as emitting a gentle, diffused glow to create a more intimate atmosphere.
Crafted from recycled die-cast aluminium, Faro comes in five different colour coatings, as well as a raw aluminium finish. The colour range originates from the small harbour of Corrubedo in Spain. This raw yet vibrant landscape is home to David Chipperfield’s Bar do Porto, which features the same colour palette.
