Arcos spotlight range

Zumtobel wished to add to its catalogue a range of high performance spot lights primarily for the art and culture market, as well as for retail usage. They sought to combine its technical competence with the insight of an architect experienced in museum, gallery and retail design. The brief was to create a high performance product with a discreet visual presence. The combination of a simple modular cylindrical body with an intersecting volume housing control gear is the most direct and appropriate expression of this design principle, and Arcos derives its distinct character from this. The range is currently available in four sizes. A number of light sources and internal accessories can be applied to suit various performance needs.
