Peter von Matuschka studied at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and graduated at the Architectural Association London in 1995. Before joining David Chipperfield Architects, Peter worked in several architectural practices as a project architect. Peter has been working at the Berlin office since 2002 and has been responsible for numerous projects worldwide as a project architect from the concept stage to the technical design stages, including the Westkaai towers in Antwerp, the Office building Moganshan Road in Hangzhou and the Peek & Cloppenburg department store in Aachen. Furthermore he has led a wide range of competitions and initial concepts, including the Museum Folkwang in Essen, the residential project Villa Eden in Gardone, the Bötzow Brewery in Berlin, the Nobel Center in Stockholm and the Georg-Knorr-Park quarter in Berlin. In 2017 he became an associate in the Berlin office.
