Peter von Matuschka has been working for David Chipperfield Architects Berlin since 2002. Since joining the practice, he has overseen a wide range of projects worldwide, serving as a Project Lead throughout all design stages. Notable projects include the Westkaai towers in Antwerp, an office tower on Moganshan Road in Hangzhou and most recently the conversion of the listed Central Customs Office in Munich. In addition to these projects, Peter has led numerous competitions, initial concepts, and feasibility studies, including the Museum Folkwang in Essen, the Nobel Center in Stockholm, the Georg-Knorr-Park residential quarter in Berlin and Villa Eden on Lake Garda. He was appointed Associate in 2017.

Peter studied at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and graduated from the Architectural Association London in 1995 with an AA Diploma and RIBA Part II. Before joining David Chipperfield Architects, he worked for several different architectural practices.
