Luigi Serra has been working for David Chipperfield Architects since 2018, becoming an Associate in the Berlin office in 2025. Specialising in computational design and the application of advanced BIM tools, he supports complex projects from concept development to detailed technical design. By developing parametric workflows, he is able to efficiently analyse complex design challenges and integrate innovative solutions directly into the BIM process. His contributions have been instrumental on large-scale international projects including the Elbtower in Hamburg, The Ned in Doha and the multifunctional Arena Milano in Milan.
Luigi studied architecture at the Universitá degli studi di Cagliari in Italy.
