Laura Burley studied architecture in New Zealand, Australia and Denmark and has over 12 years’ professional experience. She joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2021 and became an Associate in 2025. Laura is currently project architect for the LSE Firoz Lalji Global Hub, an educational building prioritising adaptive reuse, as well as for The Orchard, a mixed-use development in Antwerp which utilises a hybrid timber and concrete construction. Beyond her project responsibilities, She actively contributes to the practice’s sustainable architecture, digital design, and CPD initiatives while mentoring Part 1 architects. Prior to joining the practice Laura was a project lead at C.F. Møller Architects where she worked on large-scale housing, commercial and redevelopment projects.
