Craig Johnston joined David Chipperfield Architects’ London office in 2014 and was made an Associate in 2021. He has worked on the design of several cultural projects for the practice including The Royal Academy of Arts masterplan in London, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Southwest Wing in New York, and the Dunard Centre concert hall in Edinburgh. He is currently leading the House of Commons component of the Parliamentary Precinct Block 2 project in Ottawa. Additionally, Craig co-ordinates resources across the office, co-leads the office Quality Management working group, and provides mentorship to RIBA Part I and Part III candidates. Before joining the practice Craig studied architecture at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and worked in Zurich and Scotland.
