Franziska Rusch joined David Chipperfield Architects Berlin in 1999 and was promoted to Associate in 2007 and Senior Associate in 2025. Her focus lies on design conception, and as a Project and Team Lead, she has significantly contributed to the concept development of numerous projects worldwide. These include the concept for the Jacoby studios in Paderborn and the masterplan for the Taoxichuan cultural district in Jingdezhen. As Design Lead and Mentor, Franziska accompanies the design process of projects from the concept phase to completion, including the Nobel Center in Stockholm.
After completing her studies in architecture at the University of the Arts Berlin and Bartlett University College London, Franziska began her professional career at David Chipperfield Architects, where she initially worked on the Neues Museum on Berlin's Museum Island.
