New Projects Manager, London

You will manage the process for new business, overseeing potential new business enquiries for David Chipperfield Architects London from initial enquiry through to contract signature and/or handover to the design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will be helping to shape and prioritise annual plans and strategy, advising the Director on areas for development of new work and carrying out of targeted research for potential new markets and opportunities. You will actively cultivate market intelligence, research new and existing market opportunities, reach out to potential clients and partners, and project manage the overall workplan for the team, creating reports and managing submissions and opportunities to bid for new work.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

You should have a strong passion for design led architecture and an interest in the business, marketing and acquisitions side of architecture. Extensive previous experience working on architectural tenders and bids is required. Strong communication skills including bid writing and research are required. A proven ability to deliver high quality work on demanding deadlines and a pragmatic approach to prioritising are critical to this role. This role demands a dedicated self-starter with great teamworking and collaboration skills who shares our creative ambitions.
