Front office / Receptionist, Milan

David Chipperfield Architects Milan is currently seeking to appoint a Receptionist in a full-time position for their offices in Porta Genova, Milan, starting 1 September.

Responsibilities:
— Greet clients and set a positive office atmosphere
— Working as part of a team and organising all tasks in our office and reception with initiative and foresight
— Answer the phone, take messages and redirect calls to appropriate offices
— Organise and maintain files and records; update when necessary
— Create and maintain updated documents and spreadsheets
— Oversee sorting and distribution of incoming mail
— Prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
— Operate office equipment, such as photocopier, printers, etc.
— Perform inventory of office supplies and order what is needed
— Responsibility for the preparation of meetings and events as well as the management of our conference areas, ensuring everything runs smoothly

Your qualifications:
— Complete vocational training, preferably in the professional companies in reception/service
— Relevant work experience in a comparable position
— Representative, confident and friendly appearance, ability to work in a team and high degree of motivation
— Proactiveness and a high level of service orientation and communication skills, keen organisational talent as well as independent and diligent working methods
— Confident handling of MS Office
— Very good English skills
