Thomas Schöpf studied architecture at the Universität Karlsruhe (TH). After graduating in 1995, he worked as a qualified architect in several architectural practices. In 2006 Thomas joined David Chipperfield Architects in Berlin. His main field of expertise is in the technical and detail design stages. Thomas has been significantly involved in the design of diverse projects, including the new Museum Folkwang in Essen, the Carmen Würth Forum in southern Germany, the Forum Museumsinsel in Berlin and the James-Simon-Galerie on Berlin’s Museum Island. In 2017 Thomas became an associate at David Chipperfield Architects Berlin.
