Simon Wiesmaier studied architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin. Following his graduation in 2005, he initially worked for international architectural practices in Berlin and as a freelance architect in Switzerland. After broadening his knowledge in 3D modelling and rendering, Simon joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2012 as an architect with a focus on visualisation. He participated in numerous competitions, initial concept studies and projects, including the Nobel Center Stockholm and Bötzow Brewery in Berlin, directing the in-house visualisation team. In 2019, Simon became an associate at David Chipperfield Architects in Berlin. Simon is currently involved in introducing BIM in the office and oversees the area of digital strategy.
