Rodrigo Antón Carrasquer studied architecture in the Università degli Studi Roma TRE in Rome, after completing his education as civil engineer in the Universidad de Cantabria in Santander and in the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in Aachen, specialising in urban and regional planning. Having worked in several renowned studios in Madrid and Frankfurt he joined David Chipperfield Architects office in Berlin in 2015, working on the Morland Mixite Capitale project in Paris and Amorepacific Headquarters in Seoul, among others. Since 2022 he has been responsible for David Chipperfield Architects' office in Santiago de Compostela, where he is also in charge of coordinating Casa RIA, the site where Fundación RIA will work and develop its public programme.
