Sergio Pereira

Sergio Pereira studied and worked in Portugal prior to joining David Chipperfield Architects in 2008, becoming an Associate in 2016. Sergio’s first project for the practice was the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Café Royal in London which opened as a hotel in 2012. Since then, he has acted as Project architect for a new hotel and residential tower on Bryant Park in New York and the transformation of the Accessories Hall of Selfridges’ flagship store in London. Sergio has worked with several cultural clients to develop the conceptual design direction of both existing and new museums and galleries, including the Minneapolis Institute of Art in Minnesota.
