Florian Dirschedl

Florian Dirschedl studied architecture in Munich and joined David Chipperfield Architects in Berlin in 2006 where he worked on the Neues Museum and James Simon Galerie on Museum Island. After further studies in London, he joined David Chipperfield Architects’ London office in 2012, becoming an Associate in 2014. Florian has led several major projects for the practice in the UK and France, including: in London, the transformation of the former US Embassy building, the redevelopment of 6 Burlington Gardens for the Royal Academy of Arts and the conversion of a historic building on Sloane Avenue into residences; and, in Lyon, the design of a new development comprising several office and residential buildings on the Confluence.
