Liping Xu studied Interior Design at Shanghai University, graduating in 1997. After working as an interior designer for several years she returned to University, completing a degree in Civil Engineering at Dortmund University in Germany. Upon graduating in 2005 Liping began working for David Chipperfield Architects. She was made an associate in 2017 and is currently responsible for business development, office management and human resources in the Shanghai office.
