Lewis Armstrong studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh and the Glasgow School of Art prior to joining David Chipperfield Architects in 2015. He has worked on several completed projects, including a private house in Oxfordshire and the Selfridges Duke Street project in London. More recently he led the design and construction for a three-storey penthouse fit-out in London which completed in 2021. Lewis is currently the Project Architect for the Jenners redevelopment in Edinburgh which will see the sensitive restoration of a Category A listed department store within the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site to include retail and a hotel. Lewis was made an associate in 2023.
