Jochen Glemser studied architecture in Stuttgart and has over 20 years of professional experience working in Germany, Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom. Jochen joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2000, becoming an associate director in 2005. He has supervised the technical design for a wide range of projects in the office, including One Kensington Gardens residential development in London, the America’s Cup building in Valencia, the City of Justice complex in Barcelona, the Figge Art Museum in Iowa, and the BBC Scotland headquarters building in Glasgow. As part of his role since 2016, Jochen oversees drawing standards and provides technical guidance to projects on topics such as material selection, detail development and best practice techniques.
