Diana Schaffrannek began her long-standing collaboration with David Chipperfield Architects in 2011 and was appointed Associate in 2025. She is currently overseeing the sustainability strategy for the National Archaeological Museum in Athens and the Nobel Center in Stockholm. She worked in both the design and technical development of the Kunsthaus Zurich and the Jacoby studios in Paderborn and was Project Lead for the West Bund Museum in Shanghai. As Sustainable Design Specialist and LEED Accredited Professional, Diana brings valuable expertise to the office and advises on a wide range of projects. She has played a key role on shaping the internal standards in quality management and advancing the office’s transition towards climate neutrality.

Diana studied architecture at Ball State University in Indiana and completed a Master's degree in Energy and Sustainable Building Design at De Montfort University in the UK.
