Caterina Mangia joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2024 as the Head of Sustainable Design. Her role is to lead the evolution and implementation of the sustainable design vision ensuring it is integrated into every aspect of the design process and the practice’s businesses operations. A qualified architect with over 20 years’ experience, Caterina also has a MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from the Bartlett School of Architecture. Before joining David Chipperfield Architects, Caterina worked at a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy as an environmental designer, sustainability consultant, and Passive House Designer.
