Christoph Felger studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture as well as product and furniture design at Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London, after completing an education in cabinet-making. He has worked for David Chipperfield Architects since 1999, initially in London and since 2000 in Berlin. Christoph became a director in 2006 and a managing director and partner in the Berlin office in 2011. As design director, he is responsible for the design and concept development of numerous projects and competitions worldwide. Currently these include the extension of the Kunsthaus Zürich, a mixed-use tower in Hamburg, Morland Mixité Capitale – the redevelopment of a former city administration building in Paris as well as the Bötzow Brewery in Berlin.
