Thomas Schöpf joined David Chipperfield Architects Berlin in 2006 and was promoted to Associate in 2017. His expertise lies primarily in the technical development and detailed design phases, and he has played a key role in the design of numerous major projects, including the new Museum Folkwang in Essen, the Carmen Würth Forum in southern Germany, the Forum Museumsinsel in Berlin, and the James-Simon-Galerie on Berlin’s Museum Island.
Thomas studied architecture at the Universität Karlsruhe. After graduating in 1995, he worked as a qualified architect in several architectural practices.
