After studying German language and literature at the University of Leeds, Olwen joined David Chipperfield Architects in 1998. As Head of New Projects, Olwen serves as the primary contact point in the Berlin office for all new business opportunities, working closely with the concept development and competitions team. Olwen has overseen the coordination of new projects within the Berlin office since 2012 and became an Associate in 2017. Initially working in the London office, she relocated to Berlin at the end of 1998. Olwen has been an integral member of the Berlin team since its foundation and was involved in establishing the administrative framework of the office. During her many years at David Chipperfield Architects, Olwen has assumed a wide range of roles, including administration, translation, and communications.
