Lex holds a master’s degree in architecture from ETH Zurich and in computer science engineering from EPFL, Lausanne. He joined David Chipperfield Architects in 2019, initially as New Projects Manager. Prior to joining the practice Lex spent several years in research and developed a cross-disciplinary programme at ETH Zurich to address major societal topics. In his current role as Head of Transformation and Knowledge Lex is responsible for strategic improvement projects as well as digital transformation across the practice, creating a learning environment that promotes knowledge sharing and fosters collaboration. He was made an Associate in 2021 and an Associate Director in 2023.
