Cristiano Billia graduated in architecture with distinction from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice (IUAV) in 2000 and joined David Chipperfield Architects’ London Firm in 2002. He moved to the Milan Firm in 2008, becoming Associate in 2010, Senior Associate in 2014 and Associate Director in 2016.

Cristiano has led teams responsible for a range of international projects, spanning from Competitions to Public and Private Buildings, including Office, Residential, Commercial and Cultural developments.

Among recent projects, he has been responsible for the Renovation of the Procuratie Vecchie in Venice and the fitout of the exhibition The Torlonia Marbles: Collecting Masterpieces at Villa Caffarelli, Rome. He is currently working on the new University Campus in Padua, a Residential project for a private client in Italy and a mixed-use luxury complex in the Middle East.
