Christoph Felger has worked at David Chipperfield Architects since 1999, initially in London and since 2000 in Berlin, where he helped establish the practice focussing on concept and idea development. Before joining the practice, Christoph trained as a cabinet-maker, studied product and furniture design at Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London and graduated in Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. As Design Director since 2006, Managing Director from 2011-2022 and Partner since 2011, he has been responsible for a wide variety of projects worldwide such as the extension of the Kunsthaus Zürich; Amorepacific headquarters in Seoul; Georg-Knorr-Park, a major social housing project in Berlin; the Nobel Center in Stockholm, Elbtower in Hamburg; and Morland Mixité Capitale, the redevelopment of a former city administration building in the centre of Paris. Further to his responsibilities at David Chipperfield Architects, he regularly serves as a jury member for competitions, lectures on urban planning and architectural topics and has been a member of the architectural advisory board of the city of Pforzheim since 2017.
