On 24 November 2025, David Chipperfield received the Jan Kaplický Award for lifetime achievement during the PULSE Prague festival, recognising his contributions to the culture of architecture and design.
Established in memory of the Czech architect Jan Kaplický (1937–2009), it honours individuals whose vision continues to influence and shape the built environment.
