The Rolex Arts Festival, currently being held in Athens, is marking the twentieth anniversary of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative with several events held across the city. An exhibition, ‘Architect to Architect’ forms part of the festival and is being held at the Benaki Museum. David Chipperfield will introduce an opening talk on Saturday 27 May at the museum, running from 16:30–18:00 EEST. In the exhibition, which runs until 4 June, the five Rolex Architecture fellows each comment on another’s chosen building or project, covering buildings from China, Jordan, Niger, Switzerland and Paraguay. David Chipperfield mentored Simon Kretz in 2016–17 as part of the Rolex initiative, a collaboration that led to the publication of the book ‘On Planning – A Thought Experiment’.
