Almost 300 members of David Chipperfield Architects’ staff from the Berlin, London, Milan and Santiago de Compostela offices, as well as members of Fundación RIA, gathered in Venice last weekend to mark a significant year for the practice. In May David Chipperfield received the Pritzker Prize, an award widely regarded internationally as architecture’s highest honour. The weekend culminated in a party on the island of San Servolo.
