The Bryant, a new residential and hotel tower in Midtown Manhattan, has been selected as one of 25 projects to receive an award from the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The building completes Bryant Park’s southern street façade and mediates between the adjacent historic buildings and the more modern towers nearby through a contextual masonry and a strongly articulated façade. The project will be exhibited, together with the other winners, at the New York Center for Architecture from 14 April.
AIA New York’s annual Design Awards recognises work by AIA New York members, New York City-based architects in any location, and work in New York City by architects around the globe.
