The March issue of Domus opens with essays by Robert Bevan, Thomas Will and Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani which consider changing attitudes towards the protection of heritage and the implications for our identity and sense of place in light of current social, cultural and environmental dissonance.

Looking at architectural practice, David Chipperfield interviews Francis Kéré in his Berlin studio, two related recent projects are selected and introduced by Mariam Kamara, and the highly collaborative LocHal project in Tilburg is reviewed by Christian Kieckens.

The Art and Design section includes an interview with Do Ho Suh, writing by John Morgan and Jane Withers, while Jasper Morrison and Francesca Picchi reevaluate the work of Swedish designer Axel Einar Hjorth.

The final section – Reflections – includes writing by Alberto Ponis with Sarah Handelmann, Marianna Popescu, Tom Van Mele and Philippe Block, Alex Hochuli, Hisham Matar, Fulvio Irace and Jonathan Griffin.
