Hoxton Press, two hexagonal, brick-clad residential towers on the Colville Estate in East London, has won the Housing Award at the New London Awards 2019. The project, which was designed in collaboration with Karakusevic Carson Architects and completed in late 2018, was selected by a jury from a shortlist of 28.
Hoxton Press was built for both the London Borough of Hackney and developer Anthology. It represents an innovative approach to estate regeneration with the private sale of apartments co-funding the larger redevelopment of the estate.
