Many projects will come to fruition in 2018. Two residential tower projects will complete in Hackney, London and Bryant Park in New York respectively. The new Duke Street link building for Selfridges in London will complete the department store’s redesign. The Royal Academy of Arts’ project, which joins Burlington House with 6 Burlington Gardens is due to open in time for the institution’s 250th anniversary. The Zhejiang Natural History Museum will be inaugurated in China while the James Simon Galerie, the new entrance building for Museum Island in Berlin, will complete. A new headquarters for Amorepacific, Korea’s largest cosmetics company, will officially open in Seoul and a major exhibition on the work of all four offices will be on display at the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza. A revised edition of the Walther Koenig / Thames and Hudson monograph published in 2013 is due to come out next month including over 30 new projects.
