To mark the inauguration of SSENSE MONTRÉAL – the new five-story space designed by David Chipperfield Architects Milan – SSENSE, in collaboration with Prada, commissioned a site-specific performance by electronic music producer and musician Arca. The event – Arca / Tormenta for Prada & SSENSE – took place on the 26 April over three store levels, using the in-situ sandblasted black concrete and prefabricated concrete furniture as the backdrop, the basis of the concept developed in collaboration with SSENSE. The SSENSE MONTRÉAL space will officially open to the public 3 May and will be the first physical flagship for the Canadian online fashion retailer.
