An inauguration ceremony on 18 July marks the opening of the first construction phase of the Carmen Würth Forum, which comprises a large events space and a chamber music hall.
The Adolf Würth company is one of the world’s largest retailers of assembly and fastening materials, with its headquarters situated near the town of Künzelsau, in southern Germany. Dedicated to the wife of the company’s owner Prof. Reinhold Würth, the Carmen Würth Forum is a new congress and culture centre, situated in close proximity to the main office complex. The opening coincides with Carmen Würth’s 80th birthday and is followed by a week of events, including an open-air concert by Sting and a performance by the new Würth Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kent Nagano.
