The residential project Villa Eden, situated above the western shore of Lake Garda, is now complete.

The two villas are carefully integrated into the hillside, retaining the original atmosphere of the site characterised by grass covered terraces, olive groves and cypress trees.

The typology of the villas was inspired by the architecture of the limonaias, historical structures typical for the region and built for the cultivation of lemons. The villas incorporate their characteristic features: a plinth and a series of columns with a distinctive rhythm supporting a light roof. The main elevations facing the valley open up towards the Mediterranean landscape with room-height windows. The slender columns and cross beams form a pergola, providing protection from the sun and extending the interior into a protected outdoor space which leads to further terraces with outdoor pools.

The choice of materials was influenced by the region, using stone from local quarries for the masonry and the terraces.
