Last night, David Chipperfield Architects hosted a public panel discussion on their Berlin campus as part of the Make City Festival for Architecture and Urban Alternatives. During the talk, which was moderated by the BBC’s creative director Alan Yentob, the panel made up of Berlin’s Senate Building Director Regula Lüscher, the photographer Thomas Struth and David Chipperfield discussed issues concerning our perception of the city and recent developments in Berlin and other cities. The discussion was preceded by a presentation of photographs by Thomas Struth.
‘Make City’ running from 11 to 27 June, is Berlin’s first festival for architecture and urban alternatives and features a wide range of events and discussions throughout the city.
